A car accident.
Carol: Are you okay?
Daniel: I think so.
Carol: Do you need help?
Daniel: Do you have a cell phone?
Carol: Yes. Here it is.
Daniel: Thank you.
Calling 9-1-1 (for any emergency).
Operator: Nine one one. What’s your emergency?
Daniel: There’s a car accident and my daughter is hurt.
Operator: Where are you?
Daniel: I’m on Route 9-G, between the Kingston bridge and Red Hook.
Operator: How many people are hurt?
Daniel: Just one, I think.
Operator: We’ll send an ambulance right away. Is your daughter bleeding?
Daniel: Yes, she has blood on her head and she fainted.
Operator: Try to stop the bleeding with a cloth, wake her if you can, and stay calm until the ambulance arrives.
Daniel: Okay. Thank you.
