Recuerde que el examen de educación cívica es oral y solo contiene 10 de las 100 preguntas que vamos a estudiar este año a través de La Voz y que puede consultar, junto con mucha más información útil, en: http://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/learners/study-test

Para aprobar, es necesario contestar bien un mínimo de 6 preguntas. No olvide que siempre debe acompañar su respuesta del nombre del oficial de USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) que lo examine. Por último, si tiene 65 años o más y es residente legal permanente de EE.UU. desde hace 20 años o más, solo tiene que estudiar las preguntas marcadas con un asterisco (*).

The Constitution established the judicial branch of government with the creation of the Supreme Court. The courts review and explain the laws, and they resolve disagreements about the meaning of the law. The U.S. Supreme Court makes sure that laws are consistent with the Constitution.

Some powers of the state government are the power to provide schooling and education, protection and safety. As well as to issue driver’s licenses and to approve zoning and land use. Just name one.
